Paul Cnossen, journalist at Flex-Media on the Hoverstop:

`I Recently started as a freelance journalist. That means that I am using my computer almost around the clock. Because I am working on my own, I can’t afford all kinds of physical complaints like RSI. If I can’t do my work, my company will go bankrupt.

When I was furnishing my office I saw that advertisement for the Hoverstop. I wondered if such a tiny apparatus could contribute to good working circumstances. But it was worth trying, so I bought one. I have been using it for an while now and there is no other conclusion than that it does what was claimed in the advertisement.

When I just used it, that vibration was quite annoying to me. But that was the whole meaning of it! Now, when I’m not using the mouse, I rest my hand in front of me, without even thinking about it. The Hoverstop works!`

Mike Hoogveld, Marketing Consultant with Euro RSCG 4D on the Hoverstop:

`As a consultant I mostly work with a computer and very often under high workpressure due to project deadlines. As a result I have regularly noticed that the muscles in my hand and arms are showing signals of stress. In the past I have been treated by a physiotherapist as I was starting to suffer from RSI.

This has made me very alert for symptoms related to RSI and I actively try to take preventative measures. I have used break software, but I have noticed I make use of it less and less. This is because the breaks are often requested at unconvenient times and doing break exercises can look very awkward in large offices.

For the last six months I have been using the Hoverstop mouse and it has proven to be just the thing for me. I was convinced that I never left my hand on the mouse passively, but the mouse showed quite the opposite. The mouse corrects me in a subtle way and by now I the corrections are less required. The results can truly be felt; my problems have reduced significantly! A big advantage to me is that it is not a very obvious measure and I am no longer bothered with frequent questions from my colleagues about my RSI problems.

Recently I lent my mouse to a colleague who was starting to show signs of RSI and he was sceptical about the effect of the Hoverstop. But by his surprise, he started noticing the result from the very beginning. Yet I had to ask him to return the mouse, as I was starting to fall back into my old `hovering` behaviour again, including the related problems. To me the Hoverstop mouse is indispensable!`
