Why is the cursor moving so fast/slow?

This mouse is set to either 800 DPI, a very sensitive and high-accuracy resolution. It also makes it move twice as fast. You can set the cursor speed to your own preference using the standard Windows setting dialog screen. ( Start>Configuration>Mouse>Properties>Cursor Speed). At lower speeds it will seem to work more accurate and less jumpy. You do need to make larger hand movements to move about the screen.
The Ergologic model has a dedicated DPI button (the round button on top, with the LED light). Pressing this button will toggle you from 400 (slow, accurate) to 800 (fast) DPI and back.
